Experience:

As co-owner of Dutch translation agencies ChipShape (1987-1996) and The Sweatshop (1996-1999), I worked with many major localization organizations for virtually all leading software and hardware vendors. Projects range from a variety of PC consumer products & specialized products (software, help, HTML, XML, SGML and documentation), through hardware documentation, ERP products, website content, documentation with telecommunication products, SEO/SEM, to marketing material and press releases.
Since establishing myself as a solo freelance translator/editor in May 1999, I still cooperate with most of my former clients. Furthermore, I have extended my client base from then on. Other specializations: market research, business/finance, tourism, travel, gaming, fashion, food, general.
